Trackfox’s end-users—dispatchers and drivers—were hampered by paper-based documentation and static route planning that failed to account for real-time road conditions. This disconnected workflow led to unnecessary detours and frequent, distracting phone calls between headquarters and the field. How can a fleet operate efficiently when road accessibility changes by the minute? The client needed a solution that eliminated manual logs and provided instant responsiveness during snow events—without requiring expensive proprietary hardware.
Solution
We engineered a unified Flutter application designed for high reliability in low-signal, deep-cold environments. Our approach prioritized offline-first architecture and real-time synchronization.

Flutter (Android/iOS), WebSockets, Bloc/Cubit (State Management), flutter_background_geolocation, and GoRouter.
Intelligent Routing:
We integrated an AI-assisted planner that optimizes tours without fixed endpoints and recalculates navigation instantly on the device.
Real-Time Architecture:
The UI syncs via WebSockets to provide live fleet tracking and stream-based chat, ensuring dispatchers see vehicle status and “start/stop” events with median latency under 1.2 seconds.
Robust Data Handling:
To ensure legal compliance, we automated logbook archiving with local storage persistence (Hive/SQLite) that queues data for background upload once connectivity is restored.
